Can I use Social Media to Promote my Event?

Event directors can use popular social media channels to help promote their event directly through the athleteReg sites. Under Marketing Tools event directors have the following options for socila media promotion.

Social Share Images

Event directors can choose to use the default reg site image or upload their own to use when participants share their event on Facebook.

Facebook Tracking Pixel

Use a pixel to track participants referred from Facebook directly on an athleteReg site. Note: Facebook pixels must be created separately.

Twitter

Designate an event handle and hashtag that participants will use when talking about your event.
